The last 1 400 of the SL500 were a LIMITED COLLECTORS EDITION called the SILVER ARROW named after a legendary Mercedes race car. The Silver Arrows all featured silver ultra-metallic paint 2-tone leather seating brushed aluminum instrument panel extra aluminum trim on the wind deflector shift gate pedals grill and trunk lid. Formula S's had a few subtle unique features that identified from the standard Barracudas. This one was sold new at Coast Chrysler/Plymouth in Manhattan Beach Cal if. in the LA area. and later re-registered in Penn. It still has the original cericard and owners manual. The interior is pretty much original unrestored. I had the car recently repainted back the correct PP1 Bright Red paint so as to pass my own personal inspection along with the optional black stripes....which this car came with. I also rechromed the front and rear bumpers. This is a factory 4 speed car it came factory with front disc brakes 3:23 sure-grip rear axle tach and gauge package wood steering wheel and fender mounted turn signals.
