We recommend placing an phone-in absentee pre-bid with RealtimeBid.com for any major lots you are interested in. This provides a off-line safety-net to ensure that an item does not sell for a price below what you would have been willing to pay. Due to unexpected schedule changes, and other unforeseen issues (including loss of internet connectivity on the clerking and or bidding ends), the lots may change rings and be offered by different auction teams. An absentee bid is the best way to safeguard against any technical difficulties that may be associated with this.
